A few years ago, CBS Films got into the horror genre in a big way. One of their most memorable releases is the adaptation of the Gothic novel: The Woman in Black, starring Daniel Radcliffe.

Maybe because we live on an island, but the most scary shot to me is when the water is covering over the roadway near the end of the trailer, blocking the only road in and out. To be stuck OVERNIGHT in a haunted house on a haunted island would be a living nightmare! Well played! This trailer was edited by Buddha Jones for CBS Films.
Then there was a follow up to the Woman in Black … called … wait for it The Woman in Black 2 … I don’t think there was a second novel but apparently one can never get enough of big old haunted houses in marshes/islands being used as orphanages. Its a “gothic theme” I guess.
