If you haven’t joined the hype and watched The Hunters on Amazon Prime yet, I suggest you take a “self-quarantine” day and catch up to the rest of us. With all the coronavirus anxiety going around, it’s a good excuse to stay home and turn off your phone for a while. Snuggle up with your hand sanitizer and some tissues cause once you start this ride of a series, you won’t be able to stop.
Prepare to go through a wide range of emotions. You’ll want to start hunting Nazis by episode 3. I really fell in love with the set design and wardrobe. I think I was meant to grow up in the 70’s. Has to be some of the best writing I’ve seen so far this year, as well. There’s a great line in the pilot from Carol Kane where she says: “Men are like floor tiles– you lay them right once and you can walk all over them for the rest of your life.” I had to grab a piece of paper to write that one down– too good!!!!
