Feb. 14th, 2021 St. Valentine’s Day: Today’s trailers feature Kiera Knightly – who has been in some great romance movies – in fact we can do a fortknight dedicated to just her romance trailers.
Atonement is up first and based on the novel by Ian McEwan and wonderfully cut by Intralink for Focus Features back in 2006. This trailer is the perfect Valentine’s Day Trailer. Full of about all the drama I can take today:

Ugh it breaks my heart. You have love, betrayal, war, … forgiveness? What’s going to happen. Well, knowing the writing of Ian McEwan like I do, I can honestly say – expect the unexpected (he wrote the Cement Garden and the Comfort of Strangers amongst many others).
Next up another novel turned film, this time from that wonderful Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice. This trailer was cut by Markus Wernig for Focus Features back in the day. Seems Focus Features liked to release the romance films or films with Kiera Knightly – whatever, we can’t get enough of them … here is that trailer:
