In high school, this time of year, we used to drive and drive and drive around the back roads of new England trying to get lost, trying to scare ourselves, just doing stupid things.
When I saw this trailer years ago I recognized it all too well from those Friday and Saturday nights. It is something about the familiar cylindrical shape of the light on bare tree branches and the inability to see any further into the darkness and what lurks there.
