It is sad when talent leaves this world too soon and the lead singer of Smash Mouth, Steve Harwell, passed away today at the age of 56 which is way too young. My thoughts are with the family … such a talent .. such an unusual voice … and the world needs unusual voices. It is fitting that his music is the soundtrack for the Shrek trailers. I should warn you though that the song sticks in your head as a great trailer soundtrack should :). The Shrek series was so fun and entertaining. I think I would watch all of them again. Haven’t seen anything this clever in a long time. Thoughtful originality.
