I’ve never seen a film quite like this one. Shia LaBeouf wrote this about his own life. In the film he literally plays his own alcoholic, abusive father. The amount of emotional security you have to have to be able to do something like that is an insurmountable thought. Shia, Lucas Hedges, and Noah Jupe make acting look like it’s easy in this film.
And, of course, the trailer is excellent. That’s why we’re here. Prepare for this trailer to give you some 90s to early 2000s nostalgia.
